Mike Leo - General Manager, Vancouver Sports Club

Mike Leo is a sport enthusiast with an extensive background in health and fitness including personal training and fitness sales. A college-level athlete in both baseball and volleyball, Mike also served as assistant coach for the UBC baseball team, helping to establish the University's baseball program. He holds a Masters Degree in Human Kinetics from UBC. Mike has competed in several marathons in such cities as New York and Vancouver; he has also completed Victoria Half Ironman.

David Lomax - General Manager, Richmond Sports Club

When David decided to move to BC in 2003, all he had was his suitcase and a pocket full of dreams. Born and raised in Stoney Creek, Ontario, hockey, soccer and rugby had always been a big part of his teens; earning him many coach’s awards and MVP for 3 consecutive years. His aptitude for sports continued into his adult years while studying in College. After graduating Mohawk College in 1997, and receiving his Machinist Certificate, he worked in his designated career but realized he wanted to pursue other endeavors. He was hired with the company as a Sales Consultant in 2003, and quickly moved to Assistant Manager. Because of his hard work and perseverance, he earned the position of General Manager of the Richmond location in 2009, and later promoted to the Richmond Sports Club in August 2010.


Quinn O'Donnell- General Manager, Morgan Crossing Sports Club


Quinn O'Donnell has worked for the company for over 21 years. Over the years, he has done everything from instructor, front desk, fitness counselor, to his current position as General Manager of the Morgan Crossing Sports Club; achieving consistent and growing results in fitness and business for both members and staff. At his club he has created a well-rounded establishment for both members and staff. His personal motto in life has been "believe in it to achieve in it", as it relates to health, work and personal achievements. This drive towards continual success, and dedication to customer service, are what makes the Morgan Crossing location so prosperous.

David Ward - General Manager, Brentwood Fitness World

David joined the Steve Nash team as a Sales Representative at the Downtown Sports Club after moving to Vancouver from Newcastle, England in August of 2008. David's exceptional attitude and charisma earned him the position of Weekend Manager shortly after, and his promotion to Sales Manager quickly followed. During his 2 years at the Downtown Sports Club, David was the recipient of many awards including employee of the quarter and top sales person company wide. David has a long history of participation is sports such as tennis, soccer and rugby, from an early age. A career in the sports industry was an obvious choice for David, and along with donating his time to charitable events in sport, David has also worked in the treatment and management of people with lower limb sports injuries and holds a BSc Honours Degree in Sport Management. David became a natural candidate for the General Manager of the new Brentwood club and we are looking forward to his continuing achievements in our most recent addition to the Steve Nash Fitness Club organization.

Sean O'Callaghan - General Manager, Burnaby Fitness World

Sean O'Callaghan started with the North Road location in August of 1992 as a summer job until school started. Eighteen years later you can still here Sean saying, "It's been a hell of a summer!" He began his flourishing career as an instructor, followed by personal training. He quickly rose to management thanks to his outstanding attitude, motivation and sense of humor that defines him. In 1999, Sean was fortunate enough to take a year off to travel to Europe and play Rugby in Ireland for a season. During this time off he learned that nothing in life comes easy, and if you want something, you have to work your butt off to get it! His personality is what inspires those around him to perform better, and in turn has kept the North Road location thriving.

Tony Desanto - General Manager, Coquitlam Fitness World

Tony "D" has been with the company for 30 years now, 21 of which he has been a successful manager continuously holding a spot in the top 10 sales people company wide. Tony started his career as a weight trainer, and was quickly certified with the BCRPA. Even today, he keeps his certification up to date, so he may personally assist members with their workout. If you ask any of Tony's staff they would unanimously agree that Tony is a "prankster" who loves to make work fun for everyone. Tony lives by the motto: "Anything is possible with commitment & determination, but at the end of the day don't forget to laugh!"

Chris Gallard - General Manager, Delta Fitness World

Chris has been a member of the team since moving back to Canada in November 2008. With a formal education in Accounting, he found that working in a health and fitness club brought about a positive and unexpected change, which reflects his motto of “the only constant in life is change itself.” Originally a native from Steve Nash’s hometown of Victoria, Chris spent 9 years overseas in the United Kingdom managing health clubs, and soaking up the experience that he would later use to manage the Delta location. After eleven years of working in this industry, he still has the same passion and drive that makes him “look forward to coming into work every morning.” He runs the Delta location with the belief that good customer service is an intangible asset, as it is so hard to measure in business, but will always be the foundation of any club he manages.

Mona Singam- General Manager Downtown Express

Mona Singam has been with the company for over 10 years, and her career path with Steve Nash Fitness Clubs has been remarkably successful. Her exceptionally positive outlook combined with knowledge from her studies in the health field have helped hundreds of members achieve their fitness goals! Mona’s altruistic attitude and genuine passion for fitness inspire her team and people around her; which inevitably helped her to earn the General Manager position at the Downtown Express location. Mona’s life motto is “never, never, ever, give up!

Corbin Chivers - General Manager, Langley Fitness World

Corbin has been passionate about fitness and exercise since he was young. His dad introduced him to weightlifting at age 10, and since then exercise has been a large part of his life. Corbin has been a member of the team since 2006. In this relatively short amount of time he has helped many of his members reach their health and fitness goals! Starting off as a personal trainer, and now as General Manager of the Langley location, Corbin is dedicated to the continuing success of his members! Corbin reminds anyone who might be struggling that with the proper guidance and support – ANYTHING is possible!

Natalie Roy – General Manager, North Shore Fitness World

Natalie is native of Montreal where she attended Ecole Polytechnique Leblanc before moving to British Columbia in 1992. Fitness and Bodybuilding have always been her forte, so after receiving a position as club controller for the Richmond location, she entered her first bodybuilding competition in 1993. Once she placed first in the Light Weight Women’s category, she was quick to enter other competitions. She placed third in BC’s Light Weight Competition and in the Western Finals in 1995. Her drive is what earned her an advancement into sales, and she continued to be one of the top ten sales people in the Lower Mainland. She was promoted to General Manager of the North Shore location in 2010, her motto being “lead by example”- empowering her customers and staff to be the best they can be in all aspects of their lives.

Brandon Pugsley – General Manager, Port Coquitlam Fitness World

Brandon has been with the company for 2.5 years. He was promoted to Assistant General Manager within the first year of being with the company, and within a short period of time promoted to General Manager of the Port Coquitlam Steve Nash Fitness World. Brandon enjoys many sports including hockey and golf, and has made athletics and fitness his life’s work. As someone that grew up in Port Coquitlam, his main goal is to make his club the leader of fitness in the area. His fun and relatable attitude creates a positive and upbeat atmosphere within his location and among the staff. One of his mottos is to have fun, which translates into his all his endeavors and makes the club enjoyable and motivating for members..

Vivan Ly – General Manager, Richmond Fitness World

Vivian has been an asset to the company for five years, and in this short period of time, she has accomplished great success. After attending a Marketing Program at the University of Calgary, she decided to move to Vancouver. Her fascination with fitness and well being drove her to develop a strong background in sports nutrition, which gives her a unique advantage when she was hired in 2006. Since being employed, she has been involved in almost every aspect of our facility, from administration, to sales and personal training. Her diligence and consistence in performance has earned her the General Manager position of the Richmond location. Currently she is working towards participating in a figure or fitness competition, which she will surely accomplish thanks to her personal belief to “Never accept second best!”

Dennis Sottana – General Manager, Surrey Fitness World

Dennis Sottana has worked for the company for over 23 years. Over the years, he has done everything from instructor, fitness counselor, to his current position as General Manager of the Surrey branch; achieving consistent and growing results in fitness and business for both members and staff. At his club he has created a well-rounded establishment for both members and staff. His personal motto in life has been “work hard to play hard”, and it relates to health, work and personal achievements. This drive towards continual success, and dedication to customer service, are what makes the Surrey location so prosperous.

Andrea Kloegman - General Manager, Vancouver Fitness World

Andrea has a unique enthusiasm towards health and healing. She has always looked outside the box for inspiration on how to stay balanced in her lifestyle. She holds a certificate from Langara College in Integrative Energy Healing, and is BCRPA certified. In the last 17 years with the company, Andrea has taken on and succeeded in many different roles while traveling around the world and experiencing different cultures. Her passion for diversity has taken her to countries in Europe, South East Asia and South America. She has also done her part in helping humanity by volunteering and completing a World Service Project in India. She believes that it's the little things you do that make up who you are and uses this philosophy in managing her club in the Cambie location.

Andrew Dollenkamp – General Manager, Victoria Fitness World

Andrew has been with the company since June 2009, and with his past experiences and knowledge can truly be considered a jack-of-all-trades. He is certified in Professional Massage and Bodywork for his work in Massage therapy. In the past he has also taken a more venturous route with a certification in Occupational Scuba Diving used for underwater construction. His ambition and uniqueness is what made him stand out to become the General Manger of theVictoria location so quickly. His approachability and dedication to his customers is second to none; when he’s not strength training, power lifting or doing yoga poses, he’s finding time to help members with their workouts.
