   Athletic Conditioning

Absolution
Your solution to better back health and achieving the dream of a sculpted 6-pack. Using a variety of strength and stability tools, this class targets your core like never before.

Athletic Step
Old is new again in this "Nashed up" athletic approach to Step. Use the Step as an efficient cardio training tool with strength training intervals. Finish it off with core work and a stretch, and you'll be game ready.

Bball Blast
Using the versatile stability ball, take your muscle conditioning workout to another level with added core and balance challenge.

Below the Belt
Blast your lower body with this targeted approach to muscle conditioning. Sculpting exercises will strengthen and tone your abs, butt and thighs.

Body Blitz
Can you say high intensity? This 45 minute class combines cardiovascular exercise with resistance training making it a workout your body will not soon forget.

Body Sclupt
Cardio conditioning that incorporates a full body workout that develops muscular strength, endurance, shape and tone.

Bosu
Integrate balance into your workouts. The Bosu is a great tool that will challenge your stability and core through your entire workout.

Bosu Boot-camp
This unique class offers a mix of cardio, strength training and balance work on the ever popular Bosu Ball.

Cardio Bosu
Get your cardio workout while building core stability and strength! Cardio Bosu keeps you moving, challenges your balance and makes you sweat. This class is challenging but welcome to all levels.

Cardio Chaos
Need we say more? Get your groove on in this fast paced class designed to improve and challenge your stamina while being gentle on your joints. An eclectic mix of hi and low impact moves, agility and boxing drills.

Cardio Core
3 types of cardio in one! Combinations of Step, Hi-Lo, and cardio kick box followed by abdominals.

Cardio Craze
A total body workout! This class alternates between cardio intervals and endurance drills. Continuous movement to great music keeps the heart rate up for a sweat drenched calorie and burning session.

Chisel Up/Down
An intensive 45 min class where you get pushed to the limit as your trainer takes you through your workout using advanced training techniques.

Corporate Crunch
A 40min class perfect for your lunch hour. Cardio-muscular conditioning class using intense drills, functional exercise and core techniques to make you sweat and burn.

Core Yoga
If you've been sitting at a desk all morning, this class is for you. A strengthening and invigorating dynamic, yoga class with a focus on activating the deep core muscles. You will leave feeling energized, focused and calm. All levels, no yoga experience necessary.

Dynamic Flow Yoga
A joyful, heart oriented, dynamic and energetic practice incorporating traditional poses from various styles of yoga with vinyasa transitions, linking breath with movement into flowing asana sequences promoting strength, balance, flexibility, core development, deep relaxation and quieting the mind. Class structure also includes arm balances. Some yoga experience required.

Enhanced Core Essentials
A more enhanced version of our Group Fitness Class, Core Essentials, Dr Cleland teaches a more specialized tailored class to get you individual results.

Extreme Fitt (Challenge) *Fitness Level = Advanced
A blend of gymnastics, weightlifting, agility, power and cardio training in a circuit style format. Expect results!

Flexpress
Hand weights and steps are utilized in this fast pace toning class that is time efficient and effective.

Fountain of Youth/Forever Young
Remember when range of motion, flexibility and balance was easy? This 60-min workout will take you there again with exercises that enhance muscular endurance, functional strength and flexibility.

Hard Core Abs
A great class to target you tummy! This intermediate level class has advanced core exercises to shape and tone your abdominal area. Core rotation, crunches and planks are just a few examples of some of the exercises we do.

High School Fitness Field Trips
Fitness World has teamed up with BC High Schools to introduce students to a variety of fitness classes. Circuit training, kickboxing, step, yoga, Pilates, and more. Led by Personal Trainers, these PE classes are structured to meet needs of both students and the curriculum.

I.C.E. Mix
Mix it up with intense intervals of strength and power moves! This fun and challenging ICE option keeps you hopping on and off the bike for a total body workout like never before.

ICE Crunch
40min of indoor cycling followed by 20min of a core chiseling ab crunch challenge.

Interval Step/Resistance
Step and sculpt your body with a variety of step, cardio and resistance. A combination class using both step cardio and resistance training intervals.

Lite Step 'n Strenght / Tone
Using Reebok Step and resistance equipment.

Maxed Out
Strength training with high intensity interval training for the ultimate total body workout. Using free Weights and Stability Ball to strengthen your core, sculpt your arms, butt and legs and increase your cardio conditioning.

Muscle Pump
A full body workout that develops muscular strength, endurance, shape and tone.

Nash 360
Formerly known as 20/20/20, this updated version covers all your fitness bases with Nash intensity! Three 20min segments of challenging Step cardio, strength, abs and stretch will get you "True 2 Form" results.

Nash Knock out!
This seriously fun workout is one of Steve's personal favourites: use boxing drills and skills to up your cardio, power and core strength to a TKO fitness level.

Nash Smash
Formerly known as TBC/FBC (Total/Full Body Conditioning), this one's not for the faint hearted! An all-out muscle assault using concepts of metabolic training designed to achieve maximum results in minimal time.

Power Intervals
Explosive intervals of cardio and weights using step as a tool.

Power Step
Intervals of traditional step choreography, power step, and weights. Core strengthening at the end!

PUMP
Sculpt and tone your entire body from head to toe. Using dumbbells, bands and your own body to work your muscles and build strength. For all levels.

PUMP + JUMP
A dynamic cardio/strength class using a mixture of cardio styles and resistance equipment for a total body workout.

Sculpt
Flex and tone those muscles! Upper body and lower body conditioning and strengthening class.

SKI FIT
Challenges your individual fitness and cardio endurance with a variety of drills created to prepare your body for the slopes. Get ready to work hard doing exercises that will leave your legs toned and strong, improve your upper body strength, tighten your core and improve your stamina. Fast paced and energizing, this class will have you ready for all winter sports in no time.

Step n' Sculpt
A total body workout! This class alternates between cardio intervals and muscular strength and endurance drills utilizing the step. Continuous movement to great music keeps the heart rate up for a sweat drenched sculpting session.

Step & Strength
Interval style strength & step class with basic step combinations.

Strength n' Stretch
This energetic class is suitable for all fitness levels - participants choose their own weights. The workout consists of barbell training for every major muscle group. Posture, correct lifting technique and core muscle engagement are emphasized. Choreography is simple: think of it as a structured weightlifting workout to music. Floor work and a complete body stretch round out the second half of the class.

TABATA
Touted as "the world's greatest fat burning workout", Tabata is a simple yet effective interval training technique designed to boost the body's calorie burning mechanisms (Downtown SNSC only).

Tennis Fit
This high energy class is perfect if you are looking to improve your Tennis Game. A combination of cardio and strength training geared for the muscles you engage during a match. Core training, side slides, shoulder strengthening are just a few examples of exercise you will do during this class. Everyone is welcome! You do not have to play tennis to attend.

The Works
A one-hour class using all styles of cardio and resistance training in an interval fashion. Combination Style class for everyone, beginner to advanced. Expect Cardio of all sorts, including step, hi-low, and drills. Experience the benefits of intervals of resistance, cardio & core.

Upper Cuts
Blast your upper body with this targeted approach to muscle conditioning. Sculpting exercises will strengthen and tone your chest, shoulders, back, biceps and triceps.

Yoga Body
Rejuvenate and shape your body in a high energy, yoga-based workout designed to make you sweat, tone and strengthen your core, upper and lower body using traditional yoga poses blended with fitness moves and a 5' core ball. Challenging!

Yoga for Sports
For both the casual and serious athlete looking to build strength and flexibility to improve performance and reduce the risk of sports related injuries using yoga poses to open and stretch the upper body, hips, quads and hamstrings. This practice will leave you balanced and invigorated to start your day. All levels.
